I've been volunteering as long as I've known how to walk. I love volunteering for all causes and couldn't imagine going a month without doing something to give back. My mom taught me at a very young age that regardless of my own situation, there are always others that need my help.
There are a variety of ways to give back in today's world, whether its through fundraisers, events or physically working with those in need. Through this blog I'll share my experiences in all 3 areas and hopefully inspire others to help, either monetarily, physically or even both. I'll probably scatter in memories I have of past events and also a few ways that others' generosity has personally touched my life.
Please please please comment where you can - share your stories, ideas, experiences, etc. After all, there is no "I" in volunteer!
